Chocoholic in the Making

Landon used the word pathetic for the first time today! We went to the grocery store and he got a balloon. Before we were even out of the parking lot David and I heard the air leaving fast from the balloon. David grabbed the balloon quickly and tried to salvage it, but had no luck. I told Landon the balloon was pathetic and he quickly called it pathetic as well. Man, his vocabulary is expanding so much each and every day!

It was too cold and windy to do much of anything outside today so we hung out inside most of the day after doing some morning running. I hope it gets warm again so we can have more park days and weekends at the zoo. Landon asks to go see "Bob" the Orangutan all the time. The neat thing is, Bob is only 5 days older than Landon! He will also ask to see the turtles who were sleeping last time we went and he loves the goats and the chickens.

Talk about feeling so lost in the world! When we finally got home yesterday I found that our phone line had been switched with a neighbor's phone line. These neighbors did not have internet, so we did not have internet...following me? Needless to say, I am happy to be back online today. I had good plans to do some classwork last night and wasn't able to!

Landon and I met my mom at the park yesterday since it was such a nice day. He loves going to the park and has a blast every time. Here are a few shots of our fun time:


I am hoping for some more sunny days soon so we can have more fun days at the park!

I hope everyone has a great weekend. I think it is supposed to be yucky all weekend so we will probably stay home and get some much needed cleaning done.

Welcome everyone! I hope to be able to come on here and keep you guys (whoever reads this thing) updated on my crazy life. Right now I have a lot going on. I am teaching special education full time. I am also trying to play wife and mommy full time as well. Thankfully I have a very supportive husband who is always willing to lend a helping hand. In addition to that, I am currently working on my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction. Talk about busy! I hope to be able to come on here and pour some things out.

First thing, Landon! He is the joy of my life. In my opinion, he is the best little boy there is. While he does get into trouble from time to time, he is great and I wouldn't trade him for the world. David and I are also currently working on #2. We are so excited about the idea of trying to have another baby and cannot wait until the day comes where we will be bringing another baby into our family.

I plan to post lots of pictures to go along with my blogs. I have a really nice camera but wanted something that I could throw in my pocket or purse and take snapshots of Landon or whatever fun thing we are doing. I just got this brand spanking new camera, notice it is pink, my favorite color!
